What comes first? The painting or the title?
The title of a piece of art should mean something to the artist (and hopefully) to the viewer. Not as easy as it sounds. Untitled Nr.46 just doesn't do it for me. But with this painting, it was different ... the title was there before the painting. I've started 'collecting' words, lyrics, quotes ... anything that intrigues me goes into a little notebook and 'Inemuri' (the Japanese practice of sleeping on the job) is one such word. The rest was easy :)
