Artwork in which I devised an imaginary portrait of Saint Bernardine of Siena (1380 - 1444). At the top left stands out like a lighthouse the symbol of Christ (“Orifiamma”) : its gold and blue light spreads and invests the whole work. He drew it himself (which is why he is now considered the patron saint of publicists), and it became a famous and widespread emblem everywhere, even on the facade of Siena's Palazzo Pubblico. Very famous were his sermons and his art of oratory, his wit and his ability to hit the mark. I created this work to convey deep spiritual reflection. The use of oil allowed me to express emotional tension through vivid colors and expressionistic touches. Sacred symbolism blends with figurative realism to evoke an inner dialogue with the divine. Bringing this canvas into your home, its warm colors and emotional resonance will illuminate spaces and minds every day, inviting contemplation and inspiration.
