The East London Vandals (cat.no.ELVS26) (2026) Original Mixed-media Painting by Achille "Kende" Soardi
180 x 138 x 6cm (unframed)
£1,292.67
Original artwork description
Mixed media on wood, 180 × 138 cm. A very recent work whose title carries one of the deepest roots of Kende's practice: East London, Brick Lane, the ELVS crew, the years when British police searched for him across the city and a BBC journalist documented his tag on the walls of the neighbourhood.
The title is not nostalgia — it is genealogy. Kende publicly acknowledges where his visual language comes from, without concealing it behind the art market. Urban calligraphy fine art, mixed media on wood, 2026.
At €1,000 it is one of the most recent works in the catalogue and one of the most biographically charged. For collectors who know the artist's history, for interior designers seeking works with an authentic, documented narrative.
Each work is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity made on high-quality 100% cotton paper (250-300 g/m2) of archival type with fringed edges and ivory hues. The certificate features my logo in letterpress letterpress printing, the title "Certificate of Authenticity" written strictly by hand in black ink or archival-quality sepia, my signature, a hologram sticker and a sealing wax stamp. This document guarantees the originality and provenance of the work.
