Original artwork description
I painted the Daydreamer years ago. She is the first figure I had ever attempted. I sketched her out with pastels and washed over her with oils. It was a combination of drawing and painting. I had always feared trying to paint portraits and figures. But I was encouraged by my instructor to just try it. So I faced my fears and discovered something that would become a joy in my college experience, figure painting. The Daydreamer currently hangs in my finished basement. No place for her to live, so I would love to find her a home where she is enjoyed and appreciated.
The Daydreamer is 36 x 24 inches on stretched canvas. It was created using oil paints and pastels. It has been sealed so the chalk will not brush off. It is signed and comes with a certificate of authenticity. She is wired and ready to hang.
