I’ve come across this view before on a long walk and wanted for a long time to paint it. I finally got the chance on a beautiful sunny Spring day, standing high above the Yorkshire Dales village of Appletreewick, just me, three rams and a wonderful birdsong that included a nuthatch, woodpecker, curlew and jackdaw. I used the pastels to convey the warmth of the light.
This work is presented double mounted ready for framing. It will be dispatched cello wrapped and carefully packaged in an appropriate strong cardboard box and sent via a tracked courier.
A certificate of authenticity will be provided.
