The Coral Hibiscus Through Your Eyes By HSIN LIN 01/07/2020 40.6 x 50.8 X 1.5 cm Acrylic on Acid free Gesso primed Canvas, painted with palette knife and brushes. Artwork painted extend to side panels. D-rings and wire attached at the back. Signed at front and ready to hang.
Affirmation: Be brave, be confident, better days are on their way.
Spider hibiscus- Hibiscus schizopetalus, also known as fringed rosemallow, Japanese lantern and coral hibiscus. These beautiful red flowers are very distinctive in their frilly, finely divided petals.
Hibiscus - the flower of Femininity, Beauty, Charm and Glory.
In Victorian times, giving a hibiscus meant that the giver was acknowledging the receiver's delicate beauty. In North America especially, a hibiscus means a perfect wife or woman. Hibiscus also symbolize glory if it is given to both men and women.
I painted this artwork while missing my family overseas, as hibiscus is one of their favourite flowers. We haven’t seen each other for a long time especially we don’t travel in this certain period of time. Best wishes for our loved ones wherever they are.
