Medium size palette knife oil painting inspired by the surf on a cold winter's day.. I spend time on the beach sketching, painting, collecting information to use in my paintings.
I use hand built and prepared canvas coated with acrylic then a light layer of burnt sienna before applying layers oil paint to develop the lasting impression of sun, sea and sand on the North Kent Coast.
