The Chusovaya River. A hot noon. The Chusovaya River is a river flowing in Perm Krai, Sverdlovsk Oblast and Chelyabinsk Oblast of Russia. A tributary of the Kama River, which in turn is a tributary of the Volga River, it discharges into the Chusovskoy Cove of the Kamsky Reservoir. Living water and a mirror reflection in it of the rocky shore of the Chusovaya River. This is a picturesque combination of textures and the play of light.
I poured my heart into capturing the serene power of a hot noon by the river. Using oil, I blended impressionism and realism to bring alive the shimmering water, sunlit rocks, and lush greenery.
