This is a semi abstract work on stretched box canvas. The chaos of nature is an emotional response to the force of the weather in all its spectacular glory,
I wanted it to be a slightly ambiguous painting, allowing the viewer to give their own interpretation, is it a landscape ? ......is it a seascape ?
I have worked from memory using vivid colours in loose brush strokes to build layers of depth and texture.
