The Cat's Meow (2026) Original Watercolour by Kristen Olson Stone

Inspired by my love of vibrant color, maximalist styled interior decor and of course furry friends, this painting features an elegant Ginger cat sitting on a very bright pink ottoman in a beautifully decorated room.
This painting is part of my Matisse series in which each artwork features a, "Matisse painting within the painting". This one has a painting by Matisse of an orange tabby cat in a Mediterranean window scene.
Full of details, it has been painted in an impressionist style with multiple layers of small brushstrokes. It is painted on Fabriano Artistico Italian made, all cotton heavyweight watercolor paper with Rembrandt professional watercolor paints.
It ships safely rolled in a tube with a signed certificate of authenticity. It can be framed in any standard sized frame with or without a mat.
