In “The Burst Inside,” I explore the collision between inner emotion and external reality. A fiery core of color—alive with oranges, reds, and flashes of light—erupts from the center of the canvas, suggesting a release of energy, memory, or transformation. Around it, cooler tones of teal and deep blues offer contrast, representing moments of calm, resistance, or reflection.

This piece is less about depicting a place and more about capturing a feeling—a moment when something long held within can no longer stay silent. The abstract forms and expressive brushwork aim to echo that universal human tension between containment and release, chaos and clarity.

The painting is sold unframed with painted edges so it can be hanged with or without a frame as preferred.
