The band played on full set of 5 sketches
Pencil and graphite stick 4B,6B, 8B on smooth majong paper , each panel 10.7 x 7.4in ,27x 19cm, first panel slightly narrower by ½ cm. Total for the set is 37 x 10.75 in, 94 x 27.5 cm including the space between the pages.
Informal live music is such a draw for me, no pun intended! A table, a beverage, the live show, and I’m sketching! Quick sketch, capture the mood, body language and expression …

Sketching is my recurring exercise … I often work these sketches fast and furious. In this way I capture a unique mood, but often lines are rough and scratchy. My signature for most of my sketches is my ‘G’ … and I try to remember to put the date…
