The Autumn colours at Crockerton , Wiltshire
Pale blue and warm tints in the sky,
A sunny glow,
The woodland trees in mid November,
Uplifting shades of amber, burnt orange, russet and yellowy greens,
Oaks, beech, hazel, pines and more.
Words and thoughts of my experience recently.
Original impressionist watercolour on extra rough textured watercolour paper acid free bockingford 425 gsm 200 lb.
A wet on wet technique was applied with a Chinese hake for the background washes and then I dabbed, pressed and dropped the colours on for the trees using my Chinese pointed brush made of goats hair plus my favourite filber6 brush that I use in nearly all my paintings.

Extra rough textured watercolour paper Bockingford acid free 425 gsm 200 lb, filbert brush, Chinese brush, Chinese hake, Windsor and Newton watercolours,
