Artwork description:

This capture is from my travels to Nepal in 2012. It's of a textile shop in Bhaktapur, an UNESCO World Heritage Site near Kathmandu. I love the worn textures of the wood and the juxtaposition of the colourful textiles against the subdued colour of the shutters and facade - it captures the calm and warmth of the atmosphere of this ancient city. It was a bustling place, yet people did not seem to be in a hurry and they went about their business with a smile.

Also available in other sizes:
21x30cm - edition of 200
42x59cm - edition of 50
76x101cm - edition of 30
136x203cm - edition of 5

Beautifully Giclée printed on Hahnemuhle Pearl paper - a slightly textured 285 gsm. semi-gloss paper which holds more detail with punchier colours than a matt paper, whilst maintaining a illustrative/ painted feel.

Technology: Epson UltraChrome HDR Wide Gamut Inks with archival life expectancy: 40 years daylight, 200 years in dark.

All prints are professionally printed to ensure the absolute best quality and consistency. I pride myself in strict quality control, hence I only use top professional printers based here in London, that I am content use very strict colour consistency checks and use the very best of printing techniques available. This of course greatly increases production costs, but give me and my customers the peace of mind that I deliver a supreme quality artwork.
