- Stephen Howard Harrison
- All Artworks
- Tempest, Cellardyke, Fife
Original artwork description
This is the largest of three pantings I have made of a wild storm at Cellardyke Harbour, Fife, Scotland.
I was inspired by the force of nature and thought the movement of the water as it crashes over the harbour walls would inspire me more. I hope viewers can feel it too.
Using oil paint liberally helped me convey the wintry atmosphere of this scene.
Framed to a very high standard and ready to hang on the wall.
Materials used:
OIl paint on board
Details:
- Oil painting on Panel / Board / MDF
- One of a kind artwork
- Size: 83 x 64 x 4cm (framed)
- Framed and ready to hang
- Signed on the front
- Style: Expressive and gestural
- Subject: Landscapes, sea and sky
