An original oil painting depicting an elegant woman pouring white wine beside a plate of fresh oysters. The warm palette, striped dress and intimate dining scene create a relaxed atmosphere. A contemporary figurative work combining the human figure, food and everyday pleasure through expressive oil painting.
The absence of a visible face is intentional. Rather than portraying a specific individual, the painting concentrates on the gesture, posture, textures and atmosphere of the moment. The hands, flowing movement of the bottle and the falling wine become important elements of the composition, giving the scene a quiet narrative quality.
This work is part of my exploration of ordinary moments, food, beauty and the small rituals of everyday life. Rather than presenting an elaborate or theatrical scene, I am interested in transforming a simple moment—pouring a glass of wine before enjoying a plate of oysters—into something intimate, sensual and timeless.
