Painted on location in a lovely, old French country garden, TAPESTRY captures the fading elegance of afternoon tea on the terrace. The shimmering heat of a late summer's day, the old wicker chair under the grape vine.. A moment in time to savour. There is a smidgeon of texture creating a contemporary vibe to an evocative subject.

This painting is sold unframed but is suitable to do so should you wish. I do not varnish my paintings , as I prefer the slightly chalky look of the oils as laid down. If you would like it varnished before sending, I can do so at no extra cost.

The painting is signed, dated and titled on the reverse and initialled on the front.
