“Tapestry” presents an abstract composition rendered in monochromatic black and white tones. The central design consists of an intricate web of curving, looping lines that interweave and overlap within an irregularly shaped boundary. These lines vary in thickness and create a dynamic sense of movement and energy, resembling a spontaneous, almost calligraphic gesture. The background is textured, with a stippled or mottled effect that adds depth and contrast to the smooth fluidity of the lines, enhancing the overall complexity of the piece. The edges are uneven and frayed, contributing an organic, raw quality to the artwork. Similar to something you’d experience with a tapestry. The texture in the background adds a tactile dimension that enriches the visual narrative of the painting no matter where you place it.
