While driving home from a farm that I was invited to paint on I was taken by the many nice barns and out buildings that looked like worthy subjects for painting. I kept getting out of my van and taking photos. You might imagine what is around the road? My inspiration for painting this scene comes from my love for the outdoors, farm scenes, and old buildings & barns. I have framed this painting in a dark wooden frame with warm undertones and a gold fillet.
