Work created from readings about the life of Paul Gauguin in Tahiti.
Imaginary landscape inspired by the Pacific island and the work of Gauguin. Colors and shapes of the French painter constitute the framework of a work where some of the symbols of Alfonso Sánchez's painting appear again.
An image where ideas, times are mixed... everything out of place... early Neolithic, peasants, love, the future...
Gestural, intuitive painting, which lets things happen and relies on what appears. Taking advantage of the accident and accepting the consequences.
