This original gray marble sculpture on granite pedestal is one of the latest artworks of the skillful Bulgarian professional sculptor Ognyan Chitakov, deeply inspired by naturalism, postmodernism and abstract art. The ocean sunfish or common mola (Mola mola) is one of the heaviest known bony fishes in the world. The species is native to tropical and temperate waters around the globe. It resembles a fish head with a tail, and its main body is flattened laterally. Sunfish are as tall as they are long when their dorsal and ventral fins are extended. This artwork is one extraordinary gray marble masterpiece and exquisite modern home décor.
