An original acrylic painting on panel. I like the idea of having lots of light space around the objects, so here the tabletop is the ideal area for this. Even though it is a Still Life, I always think of these paintings as landscapes on the table, so achieving a sense of movement is important. I use colour to keep the viewer’s eye moving around the painting, and the position of the flowers themselves.
The painting is on a quality painting panel and is framed in a contemporary style whitewashed wood frame with white inner slip.
