Original artwork description:

This painting captures a mature oak tree, late in the year when the foliage has partially fallen, enough for the late sun to shine through, emphasising its autumnal setting. I have added touches of pink and mauve to the sky which really brings the sunset to life. The painting is set in a white painted wood frame with a small shadow gap between canvas and frame.
