In creating this painting, I was captivated by the transient beauty of a sunset kissing the serene landscape. With each brushstroke, I aimed to capture the emotional interplay of light and color, as the fading sun cast its vibrant hue across the sky and the tranquil earth below. This artwork is an invitation to bask in the peacefulness of nature, bringing a sense of calm and inspiration into your home. Through the textures and layers of oil paint, I aspired to convey the profound connection between the sky's infinite expanse and the grounded, nurturing earth. Every morning and evening, being close to the airport of Corfu, I painted sketches. Sunsets and sunrises never repeated, and changed very quickly.
The masses of pink-purple clouds changed almost instantly, I had to work with a brush on a palette and sort out emotions on a canvas.
