A footpath leads to some white stone cottages under the shadow of a Lakeland Fell. Between stone walls and meadows strewn with bolders. The sun is setting and the golds of the landscape shine out.
This painting is inspired by a walk close to Brothers Water in the English Lake District. The style of the painting is impressionistic with lots of bold brushstrokes and strong colours.
