A footpath leads to some white stone cottages under the shadow of a Lakeland Fell. Between stone walls and meadows strewn with bolders. The sun is setting and the golds of the landscape shine out.
This painting is inspired by a walk close to Brothers Water in the English Lake District. The style of the painting is impressionistic with lots of bold brushstrokes and strong colours.
The painting is in acrylic and is supplied rolled in a tube so that you can select your own framing options.
