Original artwork description:

The five charming towns of Cinque Terra sit nestled within the craggy coastline. There are many ways to explore this area, you can hike winding cliffside trails through olive trees and vineyards, giving the opportunity to take in the sweeping views. You can take a boat and marvel at the colorful buildings, while surrounded by turquoise colored water, or take a train to any of the towns to stop and get a closer look. This day I strapped on my backpack full of paints, grabbed my easel, and hopped on a train from where I was based 45 min away, to the beautiful town of Manarola. I made my way through the crowds of tourists admiring the town, and explored the nearby hillsides hoping to find the perfect isolated spot to paint for the day. I finally settled on this beautiful little area adjacent to a vineyard. There I was, in Cinque Terra, the light was clear and vibrant, grapes all around, and a whole afternoon in front of me to capture it in paint.

Original Oil painting applied with brushes on archival canvas. Painting is wrapped and painted around the sides, and stretched on heavy-duty stretcher bars. Painting measures 36" x 48" x 1.5." An archival varnish has been applied to accentuate the vibrancy of colors and help protect the original painting. Signed on the front. Signed and dated on the back.
