This painting was born from a quiet and tender feeling — the memory of childhood moments when the world felt warm, simple, and full of wonder. I painted this little girl holding a bouquet of sunflowers to capture that fragile instant when a child sees beauty so sincerely that it almost glows from within.
The thick texture of the palette knife brings life to the flowers — they seem to radiate sunlight and warmth. The girl’s soft expression and delicate posture remind us of the purity we often lose as we grow up.
I wanted this work to feel human and deeply emotional — a small celebration of innocence, tenderness, and the quiet poetry of everyday life.
