Sun Tree in a Web of Flowers (2021) Original Mixed-media Painting by Olga Onopko

This is an abstract work of art painted during a sunny summer, when rays of light, blossoms and a delicate web intertwine to form a single narrative. This narrative formed the basis of my painting. As we look at this painting, we can hear the birdsong, the rustling of the leaves and the gentle breeze. Here, as usual, I have employed my signature multi-layered technique. The first layer is painted in oil, the top layer in transparent acrylic, and the whole is sealed with varnish. The actual dimensions of the painting are 69 cm by 49 cm. The cardboard is 2 mm thick.
