"Sun and Snow" was born from a quiet walk through the forest after a fresh snowfall. The stillness of that moment stayed with me — the kind of silence that only winter can bring, broken only by the golden light pouring through the trees. I wanted to capture that contrast: the cool, soft blues of the snow and the glowing warmth of the sun as it stretched long shadows across the forest floor.

I worked with expressive, textured brushstrokes to recreate not just the scene, but the feeling of being there — breathing in the cold air, seeing the light shift minute by minute. There’s no strong focal point, just a natural rhythm, like the way light moves through branches and across snow.

For me, this painting is about peace, balance, and the emotional clarity that comes in those rare, quiet moments with nature. I hope viewers feel that same sense of stillness and warmth when they look at it.
