This plein air piece captures a fleeting moment of light and atmosphere that struck me deeply while painting on location. The upper portion of the scene glows in bright sunlight, while the lower areas and edges retreat into cool shade, creating a dramatic contrast that inspired my palette. I pushed beyond the local colors to evoke the emotional resonance of the scene, incorporating vibrant reds, blues, purples, oranges, and yellows, along with expressive touches of red violet and yellow green. The result is a dynamic interplay of warmth and shadow, infused with the immediacy and energy of the moment. Note: The frame shown is a representative example.
