Summer Meadow (2026) Original Acrylic Painting by Suzsi Corio

A lively, expressive and impressionistic study of a wildflower field and distant hills in summer.

This painting was inspired by memories of sunny summer days in the fields of Gloucestershire, where I spent part of my childhood and more recently, of walks and picnics in the countryside of Kent and Sussex.

The painting was made using acrylics on canvas board, incorporating splattering, splashing and scratching into the wet paint to suggest wildflowers swaying in the breeze in the foreground.

Commissions are available if you would prefer a similar landscape painting of a different size on either canvas, board or paper.
