Original artwork description:

Summer Grasses is an original acrylic painting on canvas by Suzanne Vaughan. An abstract expressionist style tonal painting with textural transitions of blue and shades of green to suggest a grassy field in front of a blue sky. Layers of paint are applied to the canvas in free gestural marks with palette knives and other tools. With multiple applications each layer interacts with the previous building a complex texture suggestive of natural organic elements.

Painted on a piece of canvas with an extra 4 inches around the 40” x 40” painting which allows for many framing options such as a floater frame or stretching onto a gallery wrap frame.
