I am nearly always too busy to paint my Summer borders in early Summer as I am too busy gardening but I have a stack of photos from which to work when the time comes to slow down a little. This one is based on the time when the purple poppies and cosmos were doing their thing and everything seemed to be popping with sparkling whites and zingy greens.
The painting is on a large canvas.
