Alive and colored with emotional light.
When I work with the body, I don't just depict anatomy - I try to capture the breath within the form, that vibration that makes the body alive, vulnerable, strong.
“Flowers Collection” is my interpretation of the human body, reminiscent of a painterly sculpture. Despite the title, there are no literal flowers in these works - instead, the bodies themselves become the “flowers,” revealed in their movement, plasticity, and inner tension. The body blossoms, bends, withers, struggles for light. In every curve there is a gesture, in every spot of color there is an emotion. Color here is not just a decorative element. It is blood, heat, cold, memory. Sometimes pain. Sometimes awe.
I intentionally stripped the figures of faces - so as not to distract, so that you look at the essence. No identity, no gender, no specific time. Just form and light. Just the body floating in the dark like a petal in water.
The dark backgrounds are the silence against which the figure sounds. Like a scream. Or like a whisper.
It was important for me to show the moment of transition: from rest to movement, from dense to transparent, from human to almost abstract. It's like watching a bud blossom, only instead of petals it has skin, muscles, bones.
The body is a universal language. Gender doesn't play a role here because I'm not portraying a man or a woman, but the very movement and light within the form. They are from the same root: bodies as vessels of light and shadow. I observe how tension turns to rest, how strength borders on softness, how forms disintegrate into spots and reassemble into solid flesh.
In each of these figures - I see not a gender, not a character, but a moment of unfolding. This is the blossoming.
My art is a dialog with the body, light, space and the viewer. Not only technique is important, but also the ability to feel the depth of human nature. Here form takes a back seat to emotion, mood and the energy of color. It seems that the figure pulsates, lives, changes depending on the angle of view and perception of the viewer. The human body becomes a canvas for experience. Each stroke speaks of life, each shade sounds, and each image remains in the memory, evoking strong emotions. I balance between opposites, finding harmony in each image. In my works I try to reveal the multi-layered nature of human nature, showing that strength can be soft and tenderness can be confident. It is about perception, feelings and the courage to be yourself. I invite the viewer to reflect on beauty, on boundaries and on how multifaceted and marvelous the nature of nature is. The Art of Rethinking. We have the ability to read things, to read everything in what we understand.
