I have painted many variations of the dunes on Studland beach. They are a constant fascination to me with their varying grasses and moses, the ever chagning colours through the season. This was a particular day when everything seemed pink and full of the sense of burgeoning spring. As always with my work I also try to imbue my paintings with as much feeling as seeing. Life sometimes feels like the changes and vulnerability of the dunes.
43 x 43cm Acrylic, pastels and charcoal on Waterford and Sanders 638msg Paper.
Framed (58 x 58cm) in a white textured and glazed box frame with 4cm surround.
