I like to think my paintings reveal a bit of my life, and this view from my studio window is a piece of life I live every day. I'm quite proud of it.
Given the trials of lockdown and days at home I was able to put a lot of thought into this flower border which had been a bit hit and miss before.
I've been able to spend time making the planting beautiful, sunflowers, marigolds, purple things and a grey curry plant. I couldn't buy any extra plants when it was time to plant it so made do with what I had. I think it's worked quite well.
I couldn't let the memory die so I painted a picture.
It's an oil painting on fine canvas 30 x 40 x 1.75 cm.
The sides are painted so that although it's unframed it is ready to hang.
Sent tracked and insured.
