The Stretching Cat sculpture was commissioned by a client who has kindly purchased several of my sculptures for her US garden. This statue, which she has called Emma, is a larger life-sized version of the small Stretching Cat sculpture that I created previously. Catching the cat in a fully extended stretching pose, as if totally relaxed and comfortable, was a lot of fun in this larger size. I like the eye-catching outline, but most of all, how lovely it looks in a beam of sunshine. Almost like the real thing!
This bronze cat statue bears Tanya’s signature and unique edition number. Your casting of the Stretching Cat sculpture will be personally approved and will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
