This painting is part of the ¨ Street view - Buenos Aires ¨ collection, inspired by exaggerated perspectives and daily life captured by Google Maps. This is how I interpret street view in an artistic way. Since I live in Buenos Aires at the moment, I did visit these places myself. It is painted on a thin paper and needs to be framed under the glass. I noticed that using simple materials I relax more and this way I can paint better. These large and abstract strokes are much easier to achieve, not worrying about the cost of the materials. This is why I prefer thin paper but quality paint and a good frame.
This particular street corner that I've visualized has a nice restaurant that is very popular by locals and the building it self is amazing.
