Original artwork description
While on a camping trip with my brother I photographed him in mid-stride, stoking our campfire. I liked the blurry sense of movement and the way in which the light from the fire illuminated him. I sketched it in gouache back in 2019 right after the trip but it took more than a year for me to get around to creating this final image.
