"Still Water Silent Thoughts" is part of my Waterlily Pond series, inspired by daily walks through the water gardens. This painting reflects the quiet mood and gentle transitions of the landscape as seasons change—an invitation to slow down and reconnect with nature’s calm and timeless beauty. Whether bathed in sunlight or touched by rain, the pond carries a subtle magic that endures.
I painted this piece using brushes, building soft layers of acrylic and finishing with delicate touches of oil paint to bring out richness and depth.
The artwork is protected with a UV-resistant varnish. The sides and edges are painted as a natural extension of the composition, on a 4 cm deep, gallery-wrapped canvas.
