Original artwork description:

This still life painting was part of the series presented at the National Art Review “Dłużew 2019”, where it contributed to my selection among the best young artists in Poland. Created during my Art High School years, it reflects a moment of both technical mastery and curiosity for how light transforms even the simplest setting.

Here, the composition follows a quiet rhythm: walnuts scatter across the surface, leading the viewer’s gaze toward a bowl with a bright pink interior — almost like a small burrow, inviting one to look closer. A pear rests nearby, balancing the arrangement with its gentle curve and warm tone. Textiles, folded and draped, create a dialogue between soft light and deep shadow, while the reflection on the glass above adds subtle movement.

The delicate transparency of the curtain contrasts with bold, visible brushwork. Though painted with expressive confidence, it still conveys the fragile lace-like texture of fabric. Every object becomes part of a visual path — a trail of light, colour, and material that encourages slow observation.

The painting is ready to hang and will be delivered in secure, multi-layered packaging, fully tracked and insured to the full value of the artwork. Each work comes with a hand-signed Certificate of Authenticity, confirming its originality.

Materials used:

Oil paint on canvas
