Original artwork description:

I composed this still life around a cup with white snowdrops, the first flowers heralded the approach of spring. I intended to express the ringing freshness and clearness of winter morning, as well as nearly spring coming. To achieve this effect I composed a different stuff which at the first glance seems not in harmony with each other. Like a fresh cucumber and soap, sea-shell and almond, night-dress as a drapery and eggs. But in the whole, all this stuff perfectly harmonize as in color, as well as in sense. Snowdrops flowers as a symbol of spring, and the eggs, the symbol of new life. The soap associates with cleanless relates with transparent cleanless of glass.
