The work makes a powerful sensory and almost physical impression thanks to its dense, grainy texture and rich colour palette. The red poppies appear not merely as flowers, but as pulsating forms—vibrant, almost corporeal. The contrast between the fiery red and the acid-green background creates tension and vibration, heightening the sense of energy. Ornamentation is combined with a certain distortion of forms, causing the image to balance between decorativeness and expression. There is a sense of excess, of the density of life — as if the flowers are growing beyond the confines of their form.
This painting is done with acrylic and oil paints. The surface of this painting is very textured. I use texture paste and sand to create the texture. All this creates a feeling of vibration on the surface of the painting. The edges are painted and the painting does not need a frame.
The color in the photo may be slightly different from the color of the picture in real life
