Original artwork description
Starry Night is a stunning circular impressionist style abstract painting in deep blue and silver inspired by the clear night skies we have here on the Isle of Skye. This is a solid wood panel with curved edges and the painting was made using alcohol ink with ultra shiny chrome highlights. Once cured, the painting was coated with resin creating a glass like finish - see the Youtube video. The result is a glossy circle of deep blue with bright silver highlights.
I love this painting, it lets you lose yourself in the mysteries of the universe.
