In this painting, I sought to capture the serene beauty of a reflective river, bordered by lush greenery and distant, rolling hills. I used the fluidity of oil paints to evoke a sense of calm and depth, blending colors to reflect both the tranquility of nature and the dynamic skies above. My aim was to transport viewers into this peaceful landscape, letting them feel the gentle breeze and the soft sounds of water flowing, inspiring a moment of reflection and quietude in their lives.
Staroutkinsk is an urban locality (a work settlement) in Shalinsky District of Sverdlovsk Oblast, Russia.
Running clouds over the rocky banks of the Chusovaya River, I was reminded of the painting by the artist Ostroukhov "Siverko"
