The horse is a fragile but powerful animal. They have an inherent beauty which has been a constant inspiration to artists since the earliest civilisations. They are often portrayed in dramatic poses, rearing, galloping etc, but I enjoy showing them in their calm, relaxed state, where beauty is simple but stunning.
