This breathtaking view of the historic and picturesque fishing village of Staithes on the Yorkshire coast is one of the highlights for walkers on the Cleveland Way. This painting depicts a hot summer’s day as the morning mists over the sea begin to break with the rising heat of the sun. Expressive pastel marks ensure that the scene is full of energy.
