The famous Carmel Beach, with white sands and idyllic setting of gentle cove, edged by wind-carved cypress trees and bluffs topped with quaint cottages, is a great place to relax and enjoy a day on the beach.
Gouache painting on 5"x7" cold-press watercolor paper mounted on panel. Image dimensions are 4"x6".
Gouache is very closely related to watercolor. It uses the same gum Arabic binder, but has more pigment which is not ground as finely as watercolor. Professional gouache colors are so opaque and vibrant, because they have the highest pigment load of any other painting medium.
Framed in 5/8"-wide white wood frame. The painting is varnished and framed without glass. The frame comes with both an easel backing and hanging hardware for table top or wall display.
