SPRINGTIME ON THE OLD OAK PATH (2025)Acrylic painting by Chris Bourne
76 x 51 x 1.8cm (unframed)
£650
Original artwork description
The ancient oak stands as a silent, enduring testament to time and resilience, watching over the winding, well-worn trail it has guarded for generations.
Its venerable limbs are just beginning to don fresh, vibrant green foliage, signalling the quiet arrival of spring.
A gentle breeze travels effortlessly through the newly budded branches, filling this tranquil place with an atmosphere of quiet reflection and gentle renewal.
Why not pause along the path and contemplate nature's enduring, recurring promise.
Whether sketching out on the rocks or rambling through the woods, my intention is to try to create a painting that evokes a feeling or particular atmosphere that you can relate to and, once the finished artwork is hanging on your wall, brings back happy memories.
