An detailed oil painting of Mousehole in Spring. This pretty fishing harbour between Penzance and Land's End in Cornwall is a favourite place of mine to paint. So much light, colour and texture. There was a lot to capture in this scene to I tried to simplify the buildings around the harbour. Water is always a fascinating subject to paint, so many different colours and reflections sitting like little jewels on the surface.
